More Changes I Plan On

So, if I am going with my initials as my identity on the blog, I think it needs more of a personal touch. Also, as I begin thinking about splitting my content, an identity forms here. Splitting between a Tumblr, with mainly writing and thoughts and such about writing… a WordPress here, which will be about writing, and geekery, and my thoughts… and my wife is working on starting a blog, and I will be contributing.

But more on that later.

So one thing I plan on doing is rethinking how I have posts organized on the site. I just kind of made some categories before… like, eh, blech, have a category. My tags were just things, and some of them have never come up again… do they belong here? Not likely.

So for categories, I am thinking, how about my Myers-Briggs type? I am an INTJ, or Introverted, Intuitive, Thinking, Judging. It would make me think a bit to put my posts into one of those boxes. And might help with the editing process a bit. But I figure things that end up here are things that come from me: my thoughts, on the culture, on writing, on my life. If it doesn’t fit, maybe there’s somewhere else I should put it.

What do you think? Too meta? What do you do for your categories and tags?
