About Me
My name is David and this site functions as my personal blog and portfolio. Therefore, it intersects with a few parts of my life:
- I am a professional librarian with my MSLIS from Syracuse University. For a few of my classes, they had us create content to a blog. If you want to see these items, they are tagged as Assignments. Much of this content is either about blogging, or library science, and I have continued writing more on these subjects.
- I am also a gamer and a geek, with wide interests in the case of either. I love board games and card games, video games, tabletop games, the works; and between books, movies, comics, and shows, I interact with a lot of geek culture. My wife and I have a blog with daily posts on these topics: Comparative Geeks.
- I am also a young writer, who, to be fair, should do far more writing than I do. However, I have been developing first my profession, to have a stable base to work from. Then, I have begun the habits of daily writing through my work on Comparative Geeks. I have a space created for my fiction blogging, and hope to increase the activity there over time. I have begun working with others on developing a world, and perhaps creating something like a webcomic or graphic novel. So anyway, I also write about writing here.
Feel free to ask me questions here or present ideas and success stories from your own blogging, writing, or life in general. And thanks for stopping by!
Taylor thinks highly of you, so now I follow you 😉 Thanks for posting!
